Epic War had a few flaws, which could be fixed. More emphasis on the leveling/skill system would be a bonus. Being able to easily max out all of your attributes and skills takes out much thinking from it, though it is fun during the first stages. Add perhaps a few more slots to increase a particular skill (Like being able to level up hobbits to a tenth level instead of the small specified amount)
Also, I thought that the final units were too overpowered. Having one angel/arch-devil on the field would wipe out basically any unit other than its opposite, not even letting the smaller units a chance to attack. If the angels and arch-devils had a single target attack, it would be a bit more balanced in my opinion.
Although the mentioned flaws took a bit of enjoyment out, I still loved the game and played it to "The End" (Pun intended). I think that the sequel could be a huge hit if approached correctly.
